What is Sacred Tattooing?
My intuitive tattoos are manifestations of my connection to the spiritual world. Through them, deep healing and symbolic meanings are transferred to the physical plane. A meditative and healing ceremony is of great importance in the creation of those sacred tattoos. They are the beginning of a journey of self-discovery and inner healing. It is very important to have an intention with the tattoo so that it can support you on this journey. My intuitive tattoos are meant to serve as unique companions on the path of self-knowledge and spiritual development.
Tattooing exists since a very long time and it was originally practiced as sacred blood ceremonies. They have always been practiced ritually and seen as something very deeply healing. In ancient Egypt, as well as in indigenous American tribes. in Thailand and many other cultures, this would be practiced like that. People getting tattooed went consciously through the different phases of pain, which a tattoo brings with it. The ritual was therefore also practiced to raise the state of consciousness.
As before, a tattoo holds deep healing potential. Tattoos go far deeper than just the physical skin. The energies a tattoo carries mark the soul, mark the aura layers. The medicine that a tattoo holds can shift the state of consciousness, purify energies and bring deep healing.
When gettig tattooed and first the needle enters the skin, the client's energy channels open and they become like a sponge that absorbs everything from their environment. A thorough energetic cleansing beforehand is therefore of great importance. Lower vibrating energies always adapt to the higher vibrating energies. With a sacred tattoo, therefore, the complete energy of a person can be brought to a higher vibrational level.
The body location where the tattoo is placed also has a lot of importance, as it can block or support a person's energy flow.
I will offer you support in each of these points.
In addition, it is very important to be comfortable with the tattoo artist, as their energy also has an impact on the ceremony and healing. I strive as a tattoo artist to serve completely as an energy channel, allowing the flow of universal light energy.
In the end, each of us is our own healer. I offer you support in finding your inner healer.

About Jenny
Jenny Boutellier is an intuitive tattoo artist and Reiki Master Healer. She started tattooing in May 2022 in Ecuador and has since learned to refine her practice in several tattoo studios in the South American region. On her travels, she has met many professional and long-time tattoo artists who have accompanied her a bit along the way and passed on their inspiration and knowledge. The question soon arose about an alternative to the traditional tattooing we all know. She felt that there had to be so much more to it. That's when a two-month training course from "School of the sacred arts" came to her, created by two soul tattoo artists from America (Ashley River) and Australia (Rachel Christensen).
Jenny practices her tattoo ceremonies in conjunction with Reiki Energy Healing. In May 2023 she made her Reiki Master Teacher Training at "Yandara Yoga" in Baja California, Mexico. Reiki is a powerful form of energy healing where energy is transferred into the client's aura or body primarily through the healer's hands.
In March 2022, Jenny completed a 200-hours Yoga Teacher Training in Somatic Yoga, which gave her a deeper understanding of the body in general, body trauma and body awareness. (Kiekari Tierra, Veracruz, Mexico).
In order to deepen the techniques she had learned and her knowledge of hygiene and to be able to tattoo safely and legally in Switzerland, she completed a tattoo school in Morges (VD), Switzerland, in January - June 2024. The École Suisse de Tatouage. This is the only tattoo school recognized by the Swiss Tattoo Association. She passed the tattooist exam with the highest score in June 2024 and is now a certified tattooist.
Through her personal experiences and deep connection with herself and the higher plane, she now practices her own ritual and healing tattoo ceremonies. In doing so, she creates a unique connection between body, spirit and soul by serving as a channel for the universal life-force-energy. Her ceremony is a blend of spiritual practices and artistic expression that allows people to find their spiritual path and find their inner wisdom. Her ceremonies are not only an aesthetic act, but a transformative experience for anyone who engages with it.
Tattoo-Aftercare
After the session, I will cover your tattoo with cling film to protect it. Please leave this on for 2 - 3 hours.
Once you are home, you can remove it and wash your tattoo with perfume-free and PH-neutral soap and warm water.
Then dab the tattoo dry with a clean towel.
Once the tattoo is completely dry (it's best to wait about 1 hour), apply the tattoo cream. It is best to use a natural shea butter-based cream. It should be fragrance and alcohol free. You can also use pure shea butter, coconut oil or almond oil. Apply only a thin layer at a time. Allow the tattoo to breathe. Bepanthen is not recommended. It contains toxins and can be counterproductive.
For going to bed the first night after your tattoo-appointment, you can cover your tattoo again with cling film. Wash it again and then apply the cling film. This will prevent your tattoo from sticking to the covers and clothes during the night.
The morning after, wash your tattoo again as described. It is normal for your tattoo to have ejected ink and be damp.
From now on, wash and cream the tattoo 4 - 5 times a day for about 1 - 2 weeks. If the tattoo starts to get very dry, just use a little more cream/oil.
Avoid bacteria that could harm your tattoo during this time. Pets should not touch your tattoo. You should also avoid going into swimming pools or having your tattoo come into contact with any equipment at the gym. Avoid wearing tight clothing over your tattoo. If you do come into contact with something like this, wash the tattoo and reapply cream. Do not scratch the tattoo, even though it can be very itchy. In this case, simply use more cream/oil. And very important: No sunburns! Your skin needs the best possible support from you now.
Nourish your skin with a balanced diet and lots of vitamins. Avoid alcohol and drugs during the first two weeks. This will ensure a complication-free healing process.
If your tattoo has lost some colour and needs to be redone, please contact me within 2 months after our tattoosession.
